Runtime is an agent harness for payment and financial operations teams. Teams use it to build and run AI agents that work on isolated computers, connect to their tools and data, and keep a human in the loop with approvals and a full audit trail.

This Privacy Policy explains how Runtime ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit runtm.com or use our platform (the "Service").

Data We Process for Customers

When a company uses Runtime, its agents may process data from the systems it connects, such as tickets, transactions, case files, messages, call recordings, and the personal data of its own customers ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data on our customer's behalf and under its instructions, as a processor or service provider. That company's privacy notice governs how it uses this data. If your data was processed by one of our customers, please contact them directly.

We do not use Customer Data to train AI models, and we do not sell it. When agent computers run in a customer's own cloud account, Customer Data processed there stays in that environment except for the requests the customer configures, such as calls to a model provider.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, work email, and company. If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or single sign-on, we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Information You Give Us

When you book a demo, register for an event or workshop, or contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email, company, role, and message.

Agent Runs and Integrations

When you use the Service, we store information about agents and their runs, including:

Agent instructions, skills, settings, and memory
Run records: prompts, steps, tool calls, approvals, outputs, cost, and timing
Messages, emails, texts, and call audio or transcripts exchanged with agents through the channels you enable
Files and code created on agent computers
Credentials for tools you connect, which are encrypted at rest and masked from agents and logs

Usage and Device Data

We automatically collect information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and how you interact with our website and app. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may include session recordings of how pages are used.

Marketing Technologies

Our website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure ad performance, and B2B visitor identification tools (such as RB2B and Snitcher) that may match a visit to a company or a professional profile. These providers may set cookies or use similar technologies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Send service updates, support messages, and, where permitted, marketing
Understand how our website and product are used and fix issues

How We Share Information

We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, messaging, email, and telephony providers, analytics, scheduling, and payment processing. We do not sell personal information.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Each agent runs on an isolated computer, access is controlled by role, credentials are encrypted at rest, and runs are recorded in an audit trail. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We keep account information while your account is active. Customers set the retention schedule for run records and session data, and we delete Customer Data at the end of that period or when the customer asks. Analytics data is kept for a limited period. We may keep some information longer when the law requires it.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Contact us to exercise these rights. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security, analytics cookies to understand how our website and app are used, and marketing cookies set by the providers described above.
